Six Fingers is extremely curious. We’ve always been like that. Curious about opportunities in the market, about innovation and the best way to be entrepreneurial. From that position, we drive renewal. We use exceptionally creative brains for this purpose, but also our knowledge about innovation and many years of experience. These are all tools we are keen to deploy to make the future of your company better, clearer and more innovative. It’s for good reason that we refer to ourselves as those who construct the future.
Six Fingers comprises a multidisciplinary, ambitious and driven team. Sometimes complemented by experts from our network, if your situation requires it. Together we are keen to bring your future a step or two closer.

Did you know that you can find Six Fingers in Barcelona too these days? Far from a coincidence. After all, the city is the absolute pioneer in the field of social design. Just like Eindhoven is considered the Dutch leader in the area of design. Six Fingers wants to combine these strengths. Or rather to facilitate cross-fertilization between Barcelona and Eindhoven. We therefore opened our first office in Barcelona in 2018 to sample as much of the creativity and progress as possible in the field of social design. And we’re bringing that knowledge back to the Netherlands, where we are helping municipalities, authorities and organizations further by thinking from the perspective of social design.
So we’re learning a lot about the city, but are also giving something back to Spain. Six Fingers is for instance providing expert master-classes in Design Thinking at the Eada Business School. And we’re also helping Spanish companies and cities to innovate and modernize. Sharing all this knowledge and experience means we’re helping both Eindhoven and Barcelona move toward an innovative future.
We’ve been working together with Boyd Cohen’s Urban Innova in Barcelona since 2016. And Boyd is now part of Six Fingers in Barcelona. And that’s something we’re really proud of: Boyd is a popular and well-known innovator in the area of smart cities. Together, we introduced the Happy Citizen Design project. That initiative focuses on happiness. And not on technology, which for many people seems inseparable from the notion of ‘smart cities’. However, we consider it important that cities are set up in such a way that people can find happiness there. And have everything they need to be happy. Technology is an aid to this, not a goal in and of itself. This involves combining our talent in the field of Design Thinking with the knowledge of Urban Innova on smart cities, and searching for answers to those questions. And from 2018 onward, we’ll be doing this under the name Six Fingers Spain. Curious about our project? Find further information on www.happycitizendesign.com.
